People and Culture
Life at College Board
We come to work every day to support students and their success.
Why Work With Us
At College Board, we’re clearing a path for all students to own their future—and we believe our people should do the most meaningful work of their careers while living the best years of their professional lives. We’re building a culture where impact meets purpose, where every voice is valued, and where people from all backgrounds can grow, thrive, and help shape what’s next in education.
A Climate of Trust, Respect, and Belonging
College Board comprises individuals who represent a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe diverse perspectives fuel innovation, and we intentionally cultivate an inclusive culture where exceptional people from all backgrounds are valued, can bring their most authentic self to work, and can contribute meaningfully. Much of this happens in our day-to-day work, as inspired by our Operating Principles, and we offer many opportunities to build this culture across the employee experience.
Meaningful Connection
We believe people thrive when they feel seen, heard, and valued. From team retreats and all-staff events to casual lunches and volunteer, employee-led affinity groups, we create opportunities for everyone to foster trust, spark relationships, and celebrate what makes us unique. Our affinity groups, which are open to all employees, include: ARISE, DIASPORA, PRIDE, RESILIENCE, SALSA and WIN.
Continuous Growth Together
Growth happens through feedback, reflection, and learning—and we make that a shared responsibility. With structured tools and informal conversations alike, we empower one another to improve, celebrate wins, and create lasting impact together.
Remote-First, Purposefully Connected
College Board is a remote-first workplace with a flexible, hybrid approach. While many roles are fully remote, we also create opportunities for in-person connection and collaboration. In-office employees work on-site at least two days a week.
